TANGERANG - Indonesia has returned to the arrival of local electric motorcycle brands in enlivening the environmentally friendly mobility market. Kool EV, the company that was present earlier this year, debuted Indonesia Motorcycle Show (IMOS+) 2023 which took place at ICE BSD, Tangerang.
Just like other electric motorcycle brands, the company implements and supports government programs to reduce air pollution by providing various electric vehicle models.
"The STOCK of EV Motor is a product that was just launched earlier this year because we see great potential for the electric motorcycle industry in Indonesia," said Ariep Antonis, Director of Operations of PT Kool EV Motor Indonesia, in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, October 26.
In its debut, the brand offers four models, namely Arjuna, Cakra, Kirana, and Bima. These names are taken from Javanese puppet figures. Thus, the company wants to maintain cultural elements in its products.
Each model has different specifications. The four electric motors have a maximum distance of 70 km to 140 km and a maximum speed of 60 km/hour to 110 km/hour.
All motorbikes presented use the Battery Exchange System (STB) or Swap Battery which makes it easier for electric motorcycle users to quickly use their vehicles without the need to charge them first. All models use lithium batteries, except for Bima, which is also provided with a Graphene battery option.
