JAKARTA - The luxury electric motorcycle manufacturer, Verge Motorcycles launched a new electric superbike jointly created with Formula 1 racing legend Mika Hakinen.
Former two-time world champion from Finland Mika Hakinen himself was appointed to the company's Advisory Board early in the year, as well as one of Verge Motorcycles investors.
We are very proud to have F1 legend Mika H Waykkkinen who designed this typical model. She is one of the greatest racers of all time, and broke the limits and connoisseurs of the speed sensation that is our common," said Tuomo Lehtim Marijuki, CEO of Verge Motorcycles on the company's website, Monday, May 15.
This collaboration project is based on the Verge TS Pro model, the most powerful and sophisticated electric motor in the market today, which has a maximum speed of 200 km/hour with acceleration capabilities from 0-100 km/h within 3.5 seconds, and an amazing torque of 1000 Nm.
The TS series uses electric motors that are integrated with the rear wheels, without teeth and chains, as well as providing an empty space in the middle for battery packages. The TS Pro battery has a capacity of 20.2 kWh with an impressive range of up to more than 321 km. The battery is also equipped with a fast charger and can be fully charged in just 35 minutes.
The design of this collaboration motorbike is also emphasized by a combination of interesting color elements. The thick black Shockbreaker is paired with elements of gray and silver surface, creating a strong but elegant appearance. This combination of colors chosen carefully adds to the visual appeal of motorcycles.
The motorbike also uses high-quality materials. For example, fairing is made from special carbon fibers and has a unique ceramic layer to prevent damage or scratches.
