Xpeng Opens MPV X9 EREV Orders, Offers Joint Tempuh Distance Of 1,602 Kilometers

JAKARTA - Xpeng officially opened the tap for the MPV X9 Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV), which is priced from 350,000 yuan to 370,000 yuan or around Rp. 820-867 million.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Friday, November 7, the Chinese manufacturer introduced the seven-seat EV X9 vehicle at a technology launch event in Guangzhou, its headquarters city.

The X9 EREV model marks the first Xpeng model equipped with the Kunpeng Super Electric System (combining pure power + smart gasoline generators).

After years of focus on BEV, the company is said to be launching a super-EREV product cycle to target higher sales volume.

Those who want to order can pay deposits and will receive a discount of 5,000 yuan or IDR 11 million, with other equipment worth 20,000 yuan or IDR 46 million.

X9 EREV measures a length of 5,316 mm, a width of 1,988 mm, and a height of 1,785 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. The length is longer than the electric-powered Xpeng X9 which is 5,293 mm long, while the other dimensions remain identical.

The X9 EREV is powered by 63.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) from CALIB, which provides a pure electric range (CLTC) of 452 kilometers. With this figure, the Xpeng itself aims to ensure that the vehicle operates only with pure electric mode within 90 percent of the scenario, without the need to activate a range expansion (EREV).

As a backup, this car has a 60-liter fuel tank, which is capable of reaching a combined distance of 1,602 kilometers when the fuel is fully charged and charged. This makes it one of the EREVs with the furthest reach in the Chinese market.

Built on the 800-volt high-volt voltage architecture, the vehicle supports 5C charging levels, with only 10 minutes of charging up to 313 kilometers.

For this model, it comes with a single-motor rear wheel drive configuration, with a motorbike generating a peak power of 210 kW (281 hp) and a peak torque of 465 Nm, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour in 8 seconds.
