AKARTA Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. (Dahihatsu) appeared captivating at the Japan Mobility Show 2025 by showing off a number of concept vehicles carrying the theme DAIHATSUMEI. Through this theme, Daihatsu wants to present a spirit of bringing joy and comfort in small cars that remain affordable and close to people's lives.

One of the most interesting concepts is K-OPEN, a tiny two-passenger vehicle that combines elegant designs, fun performance, and an open driving experience. This car has a length dimension of 3,395 mm, a width of 1,475 mm, a height of 1,230 mm, and a wheel axis of 2,265 mm.

In terms of appearance, K-OPEN comes with a soft body line that gives a dynamical impression. Two round front lights in the fascia section give an expression like a pair of eyes, while the Daihatsu logo is firmly displayed under the engine hood.

The side displays a firm and proportional line, combined with a sporty-style liter that strengthens the elegant and agile impression.

According to Daihatsu, the compact size and layout of the front engine by rear-wheel drive (FR) allows drivers to feel the sensation of fun driving in the open air. K-OPEN is designed to bring typical small car pleasure, not just for certain groups, but for anyone who wants to enjoy a fun and free driving experience.
