Hatchback Saves Fuel: Suzuki Swift S-CNG Appears Brave With Modern Features

JAKARTA Maruti Suzuki officially launched a new variant, Swift S-CNG, which relies on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) technology and is present in three variant options: VXi, VXi (O), and ZXi.

Reporting from Rushlane, Friday, September 13, the launch of the Suzuki Swift CNG is increasingly expanding the line of fuel-efficient vehicles from the Japanese manufacturer. What makes it prominent is that the fuel efficiency reaches an impressive figure, 32.85 km/kg, creating new standards in the premium hatchback segment.

In terms of design, Swift CNG still maintains an iconic sporty look, with a firm character line that gives a bolder impression. Not only looking stunning, this car also offers a combination of extraordinary performance and efficiency.

This model is also equipped with a number of advanced features, such as six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Hill Hold Assist. Driving comfort is further enhanced by the presence of automatic temperature control features, rear air conditioning ventilation, and a 7-inch Smart Play Pro touch screen infotainment system.

Regarding performance, Swift CNG is equipped with a Dual VVT series Z engine which is capable of producing 101.8 Nm of torque at 2,900 rpm, making it the right choice to drive in urban areas. The entire Swift CNG variant is equipped with a manual transmission of 5 accelerations.

In terms of price, the Suzuki Swift CNG is priced from 819,000 rupees or around Rp150 million, with the highest variant reaching 919,000 rupees or around Rp168 million. In addition, Suzuki also offers subscription options at a cost of around 216,280 rupees or Rp39 million per month, including insurance and maintenance.

The presence of Swift CNG also confirmed rumors circulating last May about the launch of the CNG variant from Suzuki Swift. With all its advantages, this model is ready to compete directly with Hyundai Grand i10 Nios in the hatchback market.
