Nissan Updates Frontier For US Markets, Design And Offroad Capabilities Are Tougher

JAKARTA Automotive manufacturer from Japan, Nissan has updated one of Frontier's pickup models for the United States (US) market. This car is refreshing from the outside to its increased crane capacity.

Launching from Carscoops, Tuesday, August 6, this car has undergone revisions to the front with a new grip and bumper with the latest finishing tailgate panel on the trim PRO-X/PRO-4X. In addition, Frontier model 2025 gets a new 17-inch rim with its latest color choice, Afterburn Orange.

Moving to the interior, this pickup is enhanced in several elements. To give the best driving position, Nissan presents telescopic tuning in the steering wheel which is the standard for all variants.

Then, passenger seats are also presented with four-way arrangements for the Pro-X/PRO-4X and SL variants. Meanwhile, on the upstream SV type, six-way tuning is provided for the driver seat plus two-way power lumbar.

The upstream SV type gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen so that drivers can easily tune the personalization in the cabin. This is added to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity.

Frontier 2025 is provided with a number of ADAS technologies that make it easier for drivers to drive the car, consisting of Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Near Parking Sensors, High Beam Assist, and Intelligent Cruise Control.

To accommodate driving needs in various terrains, manufacturers also present a Crew Cab length wheelbase configuration of SV, PRO-4X, and SL types. With a six-foot-long tub, this can allow users to carry larger loads.

Nissan also offers a maximum increase in trailering capacity for Frontier 2025 to 7,150 pounds or 3,243 kg. Then, the towing capacity is also increased to 500 pounds (226 kg) in all variants compared to the previous version.

In order to increase its resilience, the Pro-X and PRO-4X variants are given with all-field tires, off-road suspension components from Bilstein, as well as a stronger display with over-fander, and red lava crane hooks.

Talking about its performance, this Sakura manufacturer maintains a 3.8 liter V6 direct-injected engine combined with a nine-acceleration transmission. Thus, this pickup is capable of pumping up to 310 dk of power and 380 Nm of torque.

Nissan will announce the price of Frontier 2025 nearing its sales time. The pickup will arrive at the dealer network by the end of this summer.
