JAKARTA - Indonesia is again welcoming the presence of a new automotive manufacturer from China, GAC Aion. With confidence, they launched several pure Electric Vehicle (EV) models, including a luxury SUV called Hyptec HT at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

Captivating Design And Dimension

Hyptec HT comes with impressive dimensions: 4,935 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, 1,700 mm high, and 2,935 mm wheelbase, and can accommodate five passengers. The design is modern and iconic, with Diamond Cut-style front lighting and Horizon Skyline Taillight backlight. For the Indonesian market, Hyptec HT is available in seven attractive color choices: Orange Sunset, Maroon Velvet, White Pearl, Black Abyss, Grey Stone, Fashion Purple, and Silver Bullet.

Wide Interior With Special Features

The inner part of HT's Hyptec offers luxury and upper-class comfort. The back seat can be straightened to 143 degrees, ideal for passengers who want maximum comfort. An extensive baggage space of up to 1,857 liters is also an attraction, able to accommodate many items for long trips. Another novelty is HT's Hyptec ability to perform U-turns in confined spaces, an advantage for this large-dimensional SUV.

Tough Performance And Amazing Tempuh Distance

Powered by a 250 kW electric motor (equivalent to 335 dk) with a 430 Nm torque and rear wheels driving, the Hyptec HT can fly from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 5.8 seconds. With a battery with a capacity of 83 kWh, this SUV can cover a distance of up to 600 km. In fact, by only charging for 15 minutes, the Hyptec HT can increase its distance by up to 400 km.

Prices and Variants

GAC Aion offers Hyptec HT in two variants, namely Premium and Ultra. Premium variants are sold for IDR 685 million. Meanwhile, Ultra variants with booking doors will not be available in Indonesia in the near future.
