BYD Prepares New Model Launching On GIIAS, MPV M6?

JAKARTA - BYD Motor Indonesia seems to be preparing its latest model for the Indonesian market, this refers to posts on its official Instagram social media page.

According to VOI's monitoring, on the Instagram account @byd_indonesia Monday, July 8, the short video shows that three BYD electric car models have been launched, consisting of Dolphin, Atto 3 and the Seal electric sedan.

However, there was one car covered with a curtain that only saw the front lights and the words 'BYD' on.

"For an encouraging experience, explore our latest model exclusively at GIIAS 2024, visit us at hall 3," the post wrote.

It is strongly suspected that the model, the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) BYD M6, was recently caught on camera testing the road in Indonesia, based on a report from the automotive influencer @indra_fathan.

Indeed, when viewed from the images shared, the entire body of the car is covered in a camouflage robe, only the windshield, side, back and light are open. When combined with the latest image from BYD, it seems that M6 will launch soon.

Previously, PT BYD Motor Indonesia's Head of Marketing Communication, Luther Panjaitan, said that he would take advantage of the moment of the giias with the launch of a new model.

"We want to take advantage of this GIIAS moment, we also have a large enough area, hopefully we will also take advantage of that moment by launching a new model," he said, some time ago.

Unfortunately, the man who is familiarly called Luther did not elaborate in more detail regarding the latest model that will launch on GIIAS.

"Let's wait for GIIAS," he concluded.
