Honda Civic Recently Offers Hybrid System, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - Honda expanded its electrified lineup by launching Civic with a hybrid option in the United States (US) market last May.

"Honda has helped drive sales of new hybrid-electric cars in America and the new Honda Civic hybrid is a powerful and timely addition to our popular electric product lineup that includes an all-electric Accord hybrid, CR-V, and Prologue," said Vice President of Auto Sales American Honda Motor Co Lance Woelfer, on the brand's official website, Friday, June 14.

The car is in four variants consisting of internal combustion engines (ICE) and hybrid options. For the two initial ICE variants, such as LX and Sport, this latest Civic is priced from US$24,250 to US$26,250 (equivalent to Rp394.8 million to Rp427.4 million).

Then for the choice of hybrid powertrains, namely Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid, this model is priced at 28,750 US dollars to US $ 31,750 (equivalent to Rp. 468.1 million to Rp. 517 million).

Civic 2025 has an enhanced look with the latest front and gripping facilities. Meanwhile, the back light is made darker in order to highlight the sharp and aggressive impression on this sedan.

For the hybrid version, this latest Civic gets a different color decoration on the headlights and a bottom front spoiler. All trim Sport still features a dark trim and 18-inch black wheels.

While on the inside, this iconic model features a gray interior with a moonroof, a heating front seat, and a double zone temperature controller as standard. In addition, the car will get a 12-peaker Bose premium audio system with intuitive technology from a 9-inch touch screen that can be connected to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The eleventh generation Civic has safety features from Honda Sensing, consisting of Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control. All variants also have a Blind Spot with Rear Cross Traffic Alert system.

In the hybrid variant, this car is equipped with a 2.0 liter Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine combined with a dual electric motor, thus producing 200 dk of power and 314 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Civic non-Type R ever.

The double electric motor system can maximize efficiency without reducing dynamic performance and driving. Civic also has fuel efficiency of up to 50 mpg or about 21.2 km/l. In addition, the new Civic hybrid has four levels of regenerative braking deceleration available through the voter pedal at the wheel.

The manufacturer has started its Civic 2025 delivery period starting this month, followed by a hatchback version that will be marketed this summer.
