JAKARTA - Bring a Trailer, a well-known online car auction site in the United States (US), now offers a special 1989 BMW 325i Convertible. The reason is, this car has since been owned by Ann Wilson, the vocalist of the legendary rock band Heart!

It's natural to see the appearance of his car, it will bring back to the era of rock n 'roll glory in the late 1980s. A striking wide body kit, deep BBS rims like a Chicago pizza plate, and a large rear spoiler makes this car look fierce.

For the legs, this BMW 325i uses a 15-inch STaggered-width BBS rim which is 9 inches wide ahead and 11 inches behind. The tires used are Yokohama with size 225/50R15 up front and 285/40R15 behind. The suspension uses aftermarket lowering kits from Hartge with Bilstein damping on the back.

The 2.5 liter engine is now equipped with an IHI turbocharger, from CarTech or Dian. The engine is claimed to reach 275 cellphones, more than 100 cellphones compared to standard staff! The odometer shows a figure of 12,000 miles (19,312 km), which is fairly low for modified cars and may be influenced by Ann Wilson's busyness while on a tour with Heart.

Interestingly, this auction does not only offer cars. Memorabilia items from the band Heart, including letters between personal secretary Ann Wilson and BMW dealer and workshops working on modifications, are also included!

With all its uniqueness and history as a car belonging to a rock legend, the BMW 325i Convertible, which is expected to attract many collectors, turned out to be beyond expectations. At the time of writing, the highest bidder was only at 10 thousand US dollars (equivalent to Rp162 million), this auction opened at no minimum price and will close on June 5, 2024.
