Chery Releases New Interior Color Omoda E5, Price Stays The Same

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) has added to the interior color of the Chery Omoda E5 electric car, which previously only had a blue color, now comes with a choice of black or new black interior.

Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) Rifkie Setiawan, revealed that the demand for this new interior color is quite high, even since launching this car, many have asked about its choice (interior color).

"The demand is very high, about 50 percent for this black interior choice, even from the start of the launch, someone has asked but at that time we were still observing for a year, and evaluation," he said, during the launch of the Omoda E5 interior color in the Jakarta area, Friday, May 31.

The man who is familiarly called Rifkie said the presence of a new color for the Omoda E5 interior is expected to add from the market side, not eat the blue interior market that is currently being presented.

On the same occasion, Assistant President Director of PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) Zeng Shuo said, every consumer who has ordered a previous message and wants a new interior color can change orders.

"The order can be changed, and there is no additional cost," he said.

Furthermore, Rifkie emphasized that when consumers want to change their interior color choice which was previously blue to black before delivery, they can, it's just changing the queue again.

"With a record that the car has not yet delivered to consumers, it can change the choice, and also change the queue," added Rifkie.

As is known, the Omoda E5 is equipped by a battery that makes cars run with a range of up to 450 km supported by electric motors measuring 150 kW and torques up to 340 Nm.

In addition, a new feature is also embedded called Car Link O, which is a connectivity feature for Omoda E5. This application can be accessed through this SUV user device and displays a variety of up-to-date information about its vehicle. Connected via the Internet of Vehicle (IoV), the owner of Omoda E5 can access this program and see information such as Battery Health Care that displays battery and charging indicators, then a Chery Safety Car that can monitor the conditions around the vehicle, and Smart Charging which is useful in regulating charging on a scheduled basis

This car also has the highest five-star safety standard from Euro NCAP, which ensures Chery has the best quality vehicles for the Indonesian market.
