Dongfeng Shows Off E-Truck, Caps Inspired Concept Of Tesla Cybertruck

JAKARTA - Car manufacturers from China never stop in in innovating gave birth to the latest model, one of which was introduced by Dongfeng in the form of an electric truck concept similar to the Tesla Cybertruck.

The electric truck from Dongfeng was presented at the 2024 Auto China event called the E-Truck concept, or as a pickup for the 2024 concept. Indeed, it is very clear that the electric truck was inspired by the Cybertruck.

If you look in more detail, this one car comes with a design that is much softer than the Cybertruck on some curves that are presented, but comes with an ordinary body panel (not stainless steel). In addition, this one truck is equipped with an LED light, and the Dongfeng logo is on.

Meanwhile, on the side there are cameras instead of rearview mirrors and window lines that are more common than Cybertruck. On the back, there is a double light as a display panel.

Entering the cabin, this concept is equipped with a large screen that fills the dashboard area, including two screens connected to the side camera. The steering wheel is also quite modern.

Regarding the powertrain, Dongfeng claims that the electrical trick was built on an electric platform equipped with a powertrain with a power of 1,305 hp, much larger than the Cyberbeast version of the 845 hp.

The company has not confirmed whether the concept will eventually become a production model sold to consumers. But when it comes to the price, although it is larger in power but with body material under Tesla, it is predicted that the price is much cheaper than Tesla's luxury vehicles, based on electricity vehicle (EV) subsidies worth billions of dollars in China.
