Wrapped In Camouflage, Allegedly An Affordable Electric Car Kia EV2 Is Tested On The Road

JAKARTA - Kia has become one of the most serious car manufacturers in the environmentally friendly vehicle segment, as evidenced by its success in the EV9 model, EV6, and recently Kia EV5 which has been launched from the assembly line.

The South Korean brand has also mapped its strategy in the segment (electric car), by launching a total of 14 Battery Electric Vehicle models by 2027.

Most recently, the Kia EV2 small and affordable electric crossover from the automaker (Kia) was seen on the road with camouflage. This image also shows the model first roaming the street.

Quoting from the ArenaEV page, April 22, it was reported that the car covered in camouflage was reported that Kia EV2 was testing on the road, which was seen as having a fairly easy-to-recognizable box.

If you look in more detail, the car has a look similar to EV9 but a small version, even looks like a smaller Kia EV5 with the design 'Opposites United', which takes inspiration from the contrast found between nature and humanity.

Meanwhile, citing from The Verge page, the timing of the car's appearance is considered very important. Given, Tesla canceled plans to launch the Model 2 at an affordable price.

Not much information has been obtained about the car, but estimate the price is below the EV5 or around 14,000 US dollars or around Rp227 million, making it one of the affordable electric vehicles.

As is known, many electric vehicle manufacturers over the years have pledged to produce cheap electric cars to market, but not many have exceeded the limits of the concept alone.

Talking about the Kia electric car actually exists in Indonesia, namely Kia EV9 and EV6. Of course, not a few hope that Indonesian automotive lovers will have many new models in the country.
