Toyota Will Add Non-hybrid HyCross Innova Variant In India

Toyota recently announced its plans to launch the latest variant of Kijang Innova Zenix in India, the GX (O) type. This variant is the highest in a non-hybrid family.

As RushLane reported, Tuesday, March 26, a model known as Innova HyCross in the Indian market will be equipped with a trim GX (O), which is above GX. This vehicle provides seating for 7-8 passengers in the cabin.

In terms of design, this mid-size MPV class car adopts a design language similar to other variants. However, the difference lies in technology and its more advanced features.

Type GX (O) is equipped with various features, including single-zone automatic temperature controllers, rear sun protection, back fog shield, two-color interiors, soft touch panels on dashboards, LED fog lights, front parking sensors, and various other features.

The cabin is equipped with a 10.1-inch touch infotainment display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, and is equipped with a 360-degree camera with a live display on the screen.

In addition, this variant is also equipped with a number of Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) features, panoramic sunsets, Kittman chairs in the second row, and various other features.

Toyota stated that the GX (O) type will be powered by a 2.0 liter engine capable of generating up to 171 dk of power and 209 Nm of torque, combined with automatic CVT transmission and front-wheel drive system.

However, unfortunately, Toyota is still keeping the official price a secret for this variant. As a reference, the GX variant is sold for 1.977 million rupees (around IDR 374.5 million).
