NJKB New Hyundai Kona Electric Less Than IDR 500 Million, Will You Compete With Chinese Electric Cars?

JAKARTA - All New Hyundai Kona Electric was introduced at the 2024 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) automotive exhibition, and it turns out that the company has registered the latest Hyundai Kona EV base price.

"Kona Electric will soon officially launch for the country's market," he told the media crew some time ago.

So how much does the electric car cost?

Based on the data listed, the electric-powered compact SUV is offered in 4 variants with the NewKONA EV4X2AT code. The cheapest base price is IDR 421 million for Prime type, IDR 436 million for Signature type, then IDR 455 million for PrimeXN type, and IDR 470 million for SignatureXN type.

The NJKB does not include tax calculations, administrative costs, to company profits, so it is possible that the latest Kona EV price when officially launched could be above Rp500 million or more, but this is only an estimate waiting for an official release from the company.

There is no official information regarding the latest Kona EV specifications. However, citing from the Instagram page @indra_fathan, Prime type and Signature category Standard Range equipped with 48.4 kWh lithium-ion batteries with a distance of 376 km, while the Long Range category is 65.4 kWh which can run as far as 453-513 km.
