BYD Cheap Electric Car Launches This Week, Travel Distance Reaches 401 Km

JAKARTA - The electric vehicle giant from China, BYD, will add a portfolio of electric cars with the launch of the Yuan Up model which is included in the Dynasty series.

Quoting Carnewschina, Monday, March 18, the car will debut on March 19 with an estimated initial price of 79,000 yuan or around Rp. 172 million, of course, this price is quite affordable.

So what are the specifications? BYD Yuan UP continues the design language of the Song L model with the front fascia looking modern, especially when the black trim is pinned around this electric car. Meanwhile, there is a door handle like the gas machine version in general, which is designed for urban purposes.

Built on e-Platform 3.0 which is also used on Atto 3, this electric car has a length dimension of 4,310 mm, a width of 1,830 mm and a height of 1,675 mm. Also present with two optional e-motors, with a power output of 70 kW and 130 kW. Depending on the battery option chosen, ranging from 32 kWh to 45.1 kWh, this battery can cover a distance of 301 to 401 km with a single charge.

Entering the cabin, there is a typical Yuan logo at its steering circle and an 8.8-inch instrument cluster is also embedded and a 12.8-inch multi-purpose infotainment screen in the middle which is capable of rotating like other BYD models.

Adding to the comfort of driving, this car is equipped with an imitation leather seat with adjustments that are not yet electric or manual. The interior is illuminated by a large panorama roof and mixed color schemes such as black and cream or pink, charcoal, and light gray.

In addition, BYD Yuan UP is also equipped with a MacPherson suspension on the front doubles and a torsion beam in the back for a balanced and comfortable motorization. Yuan UP has arrived at BYD dealer, preparing to launch.
