Lexus NX Appears With Overtrail Variant, Has The Ability To Hit Off-Road Tracks

JAKARTA - Lexus, a luxury automotive brand from Japan, officially launched an update on the NX model for the Japanese market with the addition of the Overtrail variant for qualified performance on the off-road track. This type has previously been present at GX which has a stiffer design.

According to a Carscoops report, Saturday, March 2, the SUV received some standard equipment, such as the latest 18-inch rim set with an increase in ground clearance of up to 15 mm.

Also presented are all-field tires that can increase off-road capabilities on this model. In addition, the Overtrain type also has Adaptive Variable Suspension which is claimed to have the ability to reduce shocks on uneven surfaces.

The update for the 2024 model also includes a retuned suspension in order to improve driving convenience by adding extra buffers.

All types have an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configuration and get an improved Trail mode. Then, variants such as NX350, NX350h, and NX450h+ are claimed to have better performance.

While the exterior is decorated with black accents on the rims, grips, window decorations, door handles, rear mirrors, and roof rails. Then, the interior is decorated with exclusive monolith and black colors on the seat and wooden accents on the door card.

The Overtrain Edition comes to the NX350 model which has a 2.4 liter non-electrified engine, then a 2.5 liter hybrid version of the NX350h engine, and a 2.5 liter NX450h+ 2.5 liter with a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system.

Present as a luxury SUV in Sakura's country, the 2024 Lexus NX model is priced from 4.850 million yen to 7.725 million yen (equivalent to IDR 507.3 million to IDR 808.1 million). This price does not include other personalization options.
