Chery Tiggo 5X Officially Launches On IIMS, Prices Start At IDR 269 Million

PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) officially added its car model to Indonesia, by launching Chery Tiggo 5X at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.

Present in two variants from Classic at a price of IDR 269 million, and the highest variant or Champion that was sold for IDR 299 million. Tiggo 5X is ready to be a strong challenger for Toyota Raize to Honda WR-V.

At the time of launch, Zeng Shuo as the Asistant Vice President Director of PT CSI claimed, Chery Tiggo 5X is the longest car in his class, and has rich features including the safety system.

"So this vehicle has the widest and longest dimension in its class. It is very relieved. So it is comfortable. The safety feature is also complete, especially for the highest variant," said Zeng Shuo at the launch of the product at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, February 20.

Some of the features embedded in the Tiggo 5X model are equipped with the ADAS system or the Advanced Driver Assistance System, a joint feature that helps drivers drive.

Zeng further revealed that this one car has been assembled and produced locally, and will seek to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) by at least 40 percent to meet export needs.

Regarding the specifications, Chery Tiggo 5x carrying a 1,500 cc engine, this machine is capable of generating a maximum of 112 hp with a maximum torque of 138 Nm and using a steel frame and equipped with six airbags.

In terms of interior, this car is even more luxurious with a touch screen head-unit screen of 10.25 inches, ambient light, and leather wrap on the panels as well as the seat.

During the IIMS 2024 exhibition, Chery will provide a discount of IDR 20 million, to IDR 249 million for Classic type and IDR 279 million for the highest type of Champion. Interested in this one model?
