Sokoindo Brings E1 Seres Electric Car To IIMS, Offers Various Interesting Programs

PT Sokoindo Automobile also presented passenger vehicles in the city of Seres E1, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024.

Achmad Rofiqi, Marketing Head, PT Sokoindo Automobile, said that the Seres E1 electric car produced locally in Indonesia is proof of Seres' serious support for participating in the development of the national automotive industry, especially in accelerating the transformation towards vehicle electrification which is the government's long-term strategic policy.

"The Seres E1 electric car that we have launched since last year is expected to be able to support the Indonesian government's policy program and play an active role in the transition process towards the electric car era while serving the needs of environmentally friendly mobility for the community, especially those living in urban areas," he said, in a statement on Tuesday, February 20.

During the IIMS 2024 exhibition, Seres offers a variety of promotional programs that are very attractive to consumers who are interested in owning the Seres E1 electric car. Visitors who transact during the exhibition can enjoy the 2024 IIMS program with special leasing in the form of 0 percent interest for the 6-month to 2-year tenor valid for Maybank & CIMB users

As additional information, Seres E1 comes with two variants, namely E1 Type B which is marketed at a price of Rp. 189 million and E1 Type L which is priced at Rp. 219 million (on-the-road Jakarta). At this price, Seres E1 is currently the most competitive electric car compared to competitors in the same class.

The size of the vehicle is compact, with a length of 3,030 mm, a width of 1,495 mm, a height of 1,640 mm,m and a wheelbase of 1,960 mm and a ground clearance as high as 135 mm, making the Seres E1 capable of being driven agilely on urban routes.

The E1 Seres car is equipped with a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery with a capacity of 13.8 kWh for Type B which is able to cover a maximum distance of 180 km in one full charge. The Seres E1 battery power can be fully charged within 3.5 hours using electrical installations used at home on a daily basis and is also practical when charging at SKPLU with the availability of EV plug AC Type2 according to the standards used in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, Seres E1 Type L has a battery capacity of 16.8 kWh with a maximum distance of 220 km. This battery has also passed the IP67 certificate, so passengers do not need to worry about being electrocuted or damaged when passing through a puddle.
