Launched in 2020 at the Southeast Asian market, Toyota Corolla Cross received a positive response with high demand for SUVs. Now soon the car will be able to refresh.

Quoted from Top Gear Philippines, Monday, February 5, the facelift version of the crossover car will be launched on February 8 through Toyota Motor Thailand.

It is estimated that the latest Corolla Cross will have new front light patterns such as Japanese and Australian specifications. Furthermore, the interior has a redesigned instrument cluster.

Other updates include electronic parking brakes, rims with the latest designs, as well as high-quality audio systems from JBL. Meanwhile, the infortainment system itself will be presented more recently than before.

Despite this, the Japanese manufacturer still maintains several aspects that characterize the Corolla Cross. The car will maintain a side profile that looks like the current model.

Although further details have not been revealed, Toyota will present the model with the latest powertrain. Everything will be answered on launch day.

Indonesia is one of the markets that has high demand for this model. Launched on August 6, 2020, this car was offered with gasoline and hybrid variants. However, due to low sales, the internal combustion engine version (ICE) was stopped in 2021.

Based on TNGA, the crossover is offered with a 2ZR-FXE 4-cylinder DOHC 1.8 liter engine which produces up to 98 ps of power on a gasoline engine combined with a 72 ps electric motor.

Offered in two variants, namely HV and GR Sport, this model is offered at prices ranging from Rp568.2 million to Rp608.4 million for the Indonesian market.
