Accompanying J7, Jaecoo Will Sign J8 To Malaysia By The End Of 2024

Chery intends to bring the Jaecoo brand to the Malaysian market. Not only the J7 model, but also the J8 in a large-dimensional SUV class. This was proven when the manufacturer brought its preview model to neighboring country.

Reporting from Paultan, Friday, January 5, this car made its global debut in Doha, Qatar, last year by offering configurations of two or three rows depending on its market. This car is often referred to as Chery Tiggo 9.

In terms of appearance, Jaecool J8 has a relieved size with a length of 4,820 mm, a width of 1,930 mm, a height of 1,699 mm, and a wheelbase of up to 2,820 mm. This car is even more dashing with a 20-inch LED and rim brightening display on the side.

The SUV presents several advanced equipment such as a 12.3-inch double screen combining digital instrument and infotainment clusters, a ventilated double zone climate system, and a head-up display in front of the driver.

The interior is packaged luxuriously in a leather seat that covers the driver's seat and passengers, a 14-peaker Sony audio system, wireless charging pads, large panoramic glass roofs, and powered backdoors.

Jaecool J8 carries a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine with a turbocharged alert that produces up to 245 dk of power and 385 Nm of torque. This impressive performance is supported by dual-clutch seven acceleration transmission and is presented with the front wheels and all wheels driving options.

It is estimated that this car will arrive at the Malaysian market in the late quarter of 2024 and is priced at 200,000 ringgit or around Rp666.1 million.
