BMW IX3 Is Testing In Medan Masuk, Its Interior Is More Futuristic

JAKARTA - Entering 2024, a number of world automotive manufacturers are preparing several new models to fill the market. One of them is BMW, which is preparing an iX3 model to take a base from Neue Classe.

Reporting from carscoops, Tuesday, January 2, the car was again caught on camera being tested. If previously seen tested on the highway, the crossover is now seen driving in a snowy field covered in a camouflage sticker.

Even though it is covered by a hidden sticker, the design of the car is clearly visible with the KINK Hofmeister on the back window, and the kidney-shaped grip adorns the front. Not only the outside, but the interior is also caught on camera.

Although it looks vague, the dashboard of this vehicle looks like the concept model, which features a more futuristic design with augmented reality graphics on the glass replacing conventional instruments.

The manufacturer plans to start production of Vision Neue Classe in 2025 at a BMW-owned factory in Debrecen, Hungary, which will start with the iX3 model and release it to market in 2026.

Unfortunately, the powertrain section has yet to be disclosed. However, it is estimated that the production version will use a rear wheel drive and an all-wheel drive with several choices of battery packages varying to more than 500 km in a single charge.

The iX3 model will be the beginning of the adventure of the Neue Classe in the environmentally friendly vehicle industry and will be the basis of several BMW models to mid-2030s.

In addition to iX3, it is possible that the next generation of XM models will also carry the base and for the first time present in the EV version. Models such as Series-2 will also use Neue Classe up to X7 which is a three-line SUV.
