Citroen Will Launch 2 New Vehicle Models In India In 2024, Anything?

JAKARTA - Citroen experienced a fairly important 2023 year in India, after launching eC3 and C3 Aircross throughout the year. For 2024 there will be several other models launched.

Quoted from the Autocar India website, Saturday, December 30, for the next year (2024) the French brand plans to present an all-electric C3X sedan and Aircross eC3 SUV.

C3X talks is an intermediate sedan that combines high-speedback and ground clearance styles such as SUVs. This one car has previously been caught on camera several times on road testing, and after launching it will compete with Skolda Slavia and VW Virtus.

The car is also rumored to be coming with the same platform as the C3 model, to the eC3, and the electric version is likely introduced a few months later.

In addition, before the end of 2024, Citroen is expected to bring eC3 Aircross, which is basically an electricity derivative from C3 Aircross which has just been launched, to the Indian market. Based on the general modular platform, which supports ICE and electricity applications, the electricity version for C3 Aircross is a logical choice, especially now that the trend of electric cars is growing.

Not only that, Citroen is rumored to be introducing a 6-speed automatic torque converter for C3 hatchback and C3 Aircross. Of course, the addition of automatic variants will be the right answer, of course, for those who live in urban areas with heavy traffic.

The news has also been raised by Citroen in Indonesia, which will present an automatic variant of Citroen C3 and will be present in 2024.
