Wrapped In Camouflage, Wuling Cloud EV Caught Again Testing On Indonesian Roads

JAKARTA - After officially launching their second electric car in Indonesia, namely Badminton EV, Wuling seems to be preparing another model.

From VOI's monitoring on the Instagram page of Indra_fathan, Monday, December 18, from the images shared, it is estimated that the Wuling Cloud EV is being tested on the Indonesian toll road.

It can be seen from the visible back of this camouflaged car that comes with a small backlight that extends, the same as the model launched in China. But only the back looks can be seen from the picture.

Indeed, Wuling has registered the model in Indonesia, referring to the Indonesian Wealth Database (PDKI) with the application number DID2023081672, as stated on the date of acceptance of 15-09-2023. The site states that the registrant's name was carried out by SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. having its address at No.18 Hexi Road, Liunan District, Liuzhou, Guangxi China, and clearly displayed the words Cloud EV.

Meanwhile, at the introduction of the AV some time ago, when asked, he preferred to bring over an EV from the Cloud EV in Indonesia, Dian Asmarani, Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors, more on the company's strategy.

Speaking of specifications in China, the electric car is available in two choices of lithium iron phosphate batteries and travel distances. Among them are batteries with a capacity of 37.9 kWh with a distance of 360 km and 50.6 kWh with a distance of 460 km. All variants of Cloud EV are equipped with electric motors capable of vomiting 100 kW of power or the equivalent of 134 dk, as well as 200 Nm of torque.
