*Obell Wins IMI Awards as National Drift Pro 2 2025 Champion*

The young Indonesian drifter, Rofbell Ardante Sahroni or commonly known as Obell, managed to win the IMI Awards as the National Drift Champion Pro Class 2 in 2025. The award was presented directly by the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI) Center at the IMI Awards 2025 event held at The Tribrata Darmawangsa, Jakarta, on Wednesday, July 1.

This award is a form of the highest appreciation from the official Indonesian automotive sports regulator for the achievements of athletes who managed to become national champions in their respective branches. For the national drifting world, the IMI Awards are one of the most prestigious achievements.

Acknowledging his gratitude for the achievement, Obell said this award was the result of the hard work of the entire team during one season of competition.

"Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful to receive this award. This is a very meaningful achievement for me. But of course this is not my own work. Many parties have supported me all this time, from family, the entire ASC Monster Drift team, supporters, to sponsors who continue to believe and accompany my journey to be able to be at this point. I say thank you very much," said Obell in his statement today.

Even though he managed to win the national title, Obell emphasized that he did not want to be complacent. According to him, this award is actually a motivation to continue to develop in the face of greater challenges in the next season.

"This award is actually an encouragement for me to continue to learn and evaluate myself. There is still a lot to improve, both in terms of technique, consistency, and mental fighting. This year I face a new challenge by moving up to the Pro 1 class, so my goal is to continue to grow and give the best results in every competition I participate in," continued Obell.

Meanwhile, Manager and ASC Monster Drift Entrant, Ronald, said the team had prepared a more competitive program to support Obell's move to a higher level in the 2026 season.

"This year we are focusing on competing in the Pro 1 class, both in the National Championship and international championships held in Indonesia. In the near future, Obell will also appear at IDS Bali as part of the preparation for a more competitive competition season," concluded Ronald.
