Nio Luxury Sedan Will Be Named ET9, Introduced At The End Of 2023

JAKARTA - Nio seems very serious in the luxury car segment, even the ultra luxury sedan from the manufacturer with the name ET9 will be revealed on December 23, coinciding with Nio Day 2023.

Quoted from the Carnewschina page, Monday, December 18, this high-end sedan is rumored to be priced at 1 million yuan or around Rp. 2.1 billion, which will compete with the Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class, and will be the first model to stand on the NT3 platform.

The name Sedan from Nio was accidentally revealed on the Nio Application, and soon the brand deleted it but many application users have captured the name. It seems that Nio accidentally revealed the name of the mainstay model during the preparation of Nio Day 2023.

It is also rumored that this luxury car will come with an autonomous chip that has been developed by Nio, and will adopt 7nm technology. The chip will encourage better car integration with the Nio app.

There is still not much information obtained, but it is reported that Nio ET9 has a 3.3 m wheelbase and will be supported by third-generation battery exchange technology.

Apart from that, there is no clear picture of this sedan, but one source reported nothing different, aka similar to the Nio EVE concept that was revealed in 2017 in terms of design to features.

Nio ET9 will make its public debut on December 23. Nio will enter the market in 2025. Even according to CEO Nio William Li, this will be the year in which the high-end electric vehicle industry will have a great opportunity.
