Electric Car Manufacturer Neta Introduces Type L, Ready To Challenge Tesla Model Y

JAKARTA - A car manufacturer from China, namely Neta under the auspices of the Hozon Auto Manufacturing, continues to add to the lineup of electric vehicle models, and strengthens the brand to compete in the EV segment.

Quoted from the Carnewschina page, Saturday, December 9, currently the model lines consist of Neta Aya, Neta X, Neta S, and Neta GT. Recently introduced the latest model, namely Neta L, which will compete with BYD Song Plus and Tesla Model Y.

Meanwhile, the electric car will be available in two powertrain options, namely long-distance electric vehicles known as the EREV and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).

Speaking of the design presented, Neta L stands on the Shanhai architecture that underlies the Neta S sedan and the Neta GT couple. This means adopting a new minimalist design language from Neta.

Other details are where the car, which is included in the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, has a length of 4,770 mm, a width of 1,900 mm and a height of 1,660 mm with a wheelbase of 2810 mm.

There is still not much information to share, but for BEV Neta L it will use the SVOLT LFP battery from Great Wall Motor. However, the capacity is still not remembered.

Meanwhile, the EREV version will be equipped with an e-motor where the battery is embedded in the BEV version, with a capacity of 30 kWh, which can cover a distance of up to 164 km in one full charge, and will also come with a 1.5 liter H15R gasoline engine from Dongfeng.

Nantinya Neta L akan memasuki pasar China pada tahun 2024, dengan kisaran harga mulai dari 150,000 yuan atau Rp327 juta sampai 250,000 yuan atau Rp545 juta.

Speaking of Neta, actually it is already present in the country with several models, such as Neta S, Neta U and Neta V, only those that have just been officially sold in Indonesia for IDR 379 million. It is possible that many other models will be present in Indonesia.
