The Latest Generation Honda Accord Is Officially Present In Indonesia, Offers Hybrid Technology

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), as the brand holding agent (APM) and car distributor Honda in Indonesia, officially launched the latest generation of its premium sedan, All New Honda Accord RS e: HEV.

The eleventh generation model of this legendary series comes with several updates, including the presence of hybrid technology carried by the Japanese manufacturer, e: HEV. This sedan is the second hybrid model launched by HPM in the country this year.

"All New Honda Accord is our flagship sedan that was reborn with the sporty appearance of the hospital powered by engine e: HEV," said Kotaro Shimizu, President Director of PT HPM, in remarks at the launch of Accord at Royal Glass House, Jakarta, Thursday, December 7.

On the exterior, this car has the same design as the version that was first launched in America at the end of 2022. The latest Accord has a charming front display with a large grip with a cypit-shaped LED light embedding, just like All New CR-V.

The back is shown to be more relieved by the long baggage room. The lighting is made more unified, leaving the impression of premium that is attracting attention. Carrying the RS class which is the highest, this latest Accord is equipped with an elegant appearance and sporty from the 18-inch alloy rim.

This Accord is equipped with a 12.3-inch touch-screen that has an integration of "Google Built-In" with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and 11.5-inch Head-Up Display. The Honda Sensing safety feature is also present for the first time in the Japanese market.

In addition, users can be spoiled with a power panoramic sunset, i-Dual Zone Auto AC, Multi-color Ambient Light, premium 12-peaker from Bose, and 8-way power adjustable on the front seat.

Speaking of the kitchen runway, the Accord was powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine in collaboration with the hybrid system e:HeV, resulting in up to 207 ps of power and 335 Nm of torque.

"Of course, this car offers various things, including front technology, more sporty, and in my opinion, this is the best Accord ever," Shimizu concluded.

All-New Honda Accord RS e: HEV is equipped with a variety of color choices, ranging from Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, and Ignite Red Metallic. This premium sedan is priced at Rp959.9 million OTR Jakarta and will begin shipping in January 2024.
