Kia Presents Refreshment To Seltos In The Philippines, Here Are The Specifications And Prices

JAKARTA - Towards the end of 2023, several automotive manufacturers have launched the latest models, one of which is Kia. The South Korean manufacturer launched the latest Seltos for the Philippine market.

Reporting from Top Gear Philippines, Saturday, December 2, the manufacturer presents Seltos facelift with several changes that are more different than before. The outside view of the car is bolder thanks to the larger grip supported by the redesigned LED lights. Then, the front bumper looks more resilient with fog lights positioned vertically.

At the back, the lightbar is presented extending at the baggage door that connects the LED lighting. Then, the rear bumper is also redesigned. All variants of this SUV are offered with 17-inch rims covered in 215/60 tires.

Another interesting thing goes on to an interior system that gets a variety of reshuffles. The lowest variant will get a 4.2-inch instrument panel with an 8-inch touchscreen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless systems. If the customer is not satisfied with that, Kia offers a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with a 10.25-inch touchscreen at its top variant.

In addition, Kia Seltos is also equipped with airbags for drivers and front passengers, six speakers, an automatic climate single-zone, and a rear parking camera. Then, this car is equipped with keylets entry and push-start buttons, folding rearview mirrors, and DRL.

To add comfort, Seltos offers a leather seat and a panoramic sunset with wireless charging. This car is increasingly sophisticated with smart cruise control, lane-keeping and lane-following assists, and forward-collection avoidance.

Talking about engines, this car is equipped with a 1.5 liter gasoline option that produces up to 113 dk of power and 144 Nm of torque connected to Intelligent Variable Transmission developed by Kia.

The manufacturer also offers a 1.4 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces up to 138 dk of power and 242 Nm of torque with two front wheels driven by a dual-clutch of seven accelerations.

Speaking of prices, the SUV starts at 1,198 million pesos or equivalent to Rp334.1 million for the lowest variant, LX. Then, the middle variant or EX is pegged for 1,288 million pesos or the range of Rp359.3 million and the highest, namely SX, is worth 1,688 million pesos or the equivalent of Rp470.8 million.
