Audi TT Enters Twilight With The Release Of The Last Edition

JAKARTA - After 25 years of being poor across the road, Audi TT faces its dusk. This German manufacturer has just released the last edition of this iconic model for the global market.

Through the official Instagram upload @audi_de on Thursday, November 23, the last unit was seen from the Audi TT sports car leaving the production line in Hungary.

The last model, the third generation TTS Coupe, looks decorated with flowers, surrounded by the concepts of TT Coupe and TT Roadster, as well as previous models. The figure of 662,762 units listed indicates the total production of Audi TT from February 18, 1998 to November 10, 2023.

This latest edition of the Audi TTS appears with Gray Metallic colors combined with luxurious Dark Chrome accents. In addition to an elegant design, this car offers an attractive performance.

Supported by a 2.0 liter TFSI 4-cylinder machine, Audi TTS is capable of generating up to 315 dk of power. Although it is not the most powerful variant of the third generation TT based on MQB, it is the second position after the RS variant using a five cylinder engine of 2.5 TFSI with a power of up to 394 dk.

According to the company's official website, Audi still provides 540 units of this model in Europe at prices ranging from 45,444 to 104,977 euros (around Rp771.6 million-Rp1.7 billion) depending on other versions and options.

Audi also recently introduced Audi TT Roadster Final Edition with limited production of 50 units in North America. Similar farewells have debuted in early 2023 in various markets, including Final Edition for the UK, Memorial Edition for Japan, and limited edition TT 45 TFSI for Spain.
