Three Months Since Debut At GIIAS 2023, How Is The Price Of MG ZS EV?

JAKARTA - One of the electric cars made by Morris Garage (MG), ZS EV, marked his debut in the Indonesian automotive industry at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) last August.

Since making an impressive debut, MG Motor Indonesia claims that it has received hundreds of Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK), unique consumers do not yet know the exact price of this car until now.

Arief Syarifudin, as Marketing & PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia, said that various public responses regarding ZS EV encouraged his party to always make breakthroughs and innovations in the future.

"The trust from the community is a reflection of our dedication in providing vehicles that are not only innovative but also environmentally friendly," said Arief when contacted by VOI, Friday, November 10.

MG ZS EV is a five-door SUV powered by electric power. Powered by an electric motor with 128 hp and a torque of 280 Nm, this car can reach a maximum speed of up to 173 km/hour.

The MG ZS EV has a 51.1 kWh capacity battery for the initial SE and Trophy variants, as well as the SE Long Range and Long Range Trophy variants with a 72.6 kWh battery. The SUV has a range of up to 318 km for the SE and Trophy variants, while the two Long Range variants can reach a distance of 439 km with a fully charged battery according to the WLTP cycle.

Although information has not been announced about the price of this model, ZS EV is sold in the global market at a price of 30,495 pounds or around Rp576.6 million. In comparison, the conventional version of MG ZS in Indonesia is sold at a price of Rp335.8 million for the Ignite variant and Rp355.8 million for the Magnify variant.

"We promise to announce a price that will soon reflect the value and quality of the MG ZS EV," concluded Arief.
