MG4 EV Sells Well In Europe, Sales Reach 46 Thousand Units

JAKARTA - British automotive brand Morris Garages (MG) is not a new name in the electric car segment, in Europe one of its EV lineups, MG4 EV, is the prima donna.

Even MG claims, over the past eight months the sale of MG 4EV has reached more than 46 thousand units, specifically for the European market. This was revealed by Arief Syarifudin, Marketing and PR Director of MG Motor Indonesia.

"It is interesting because the MG4 EV in Europe has sold a lot within eight months," he said, in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, October 12.

Meanwhile, for the Indonesian market itself, the man who is familiarly called Arief said that since his launch last July, he has received extraordinary reception from Indonesian consumers. However, he did not elaborate in more detail on how many units had been ordered.

Finally, at the automotive exhibition some time ago, Arief said that the Indonesia SPK market from MG4 EV had touched 1,200 units.

Arief explained that MG had been trying to provide innovations that were new and good in nature by bringing advanced technology. One of them, Arief explained, by introducing MG 4 EV Volcano Orange in response to the voice and demand from consumers in the country.

"We continue to hear and see market responses to MG, especially 4 EVs. MG always has a way to be able to communicate and connect with consumers," said Arief.

MG also continues to be committed to providing full-sale services for users, one of which is battery guarantees for eight years or 160,000 kilometers so as to provide consumers with guarantees regarding quality and battery life. In addition to battery guarantees, MG also provides four-year warranty without kilometer restrictions and free maintenance for 4 years or 50,000 kilometers, including spare parts and labor.

Regarding the price in Indonesia, the MG4 EV comes with two types, for Ignite it is priced at IDR 649.9 million while IDR 699.9 million for the MG4 EV Magnify iSmart type.
