Toyota Gives Suspension Improvement And Special Packages In Tundra 2024

JAKARTA - Toyota Tundra is Toyota's mainstay in the pickup truck category in the US market, known as a formidable and reliable vehicle in facing various obstacles. However, for the 2024 model, Toyota made various significant improvements to this model.

One of the biggest changes is the introduction of a three-inch increased suspension as an accessory that can be installed directly at the factory. In addition, Tundra also comes with a variety of special packages that provide a stronger look and better performance in various terrains.

Reported from Motor1, Wednesday, August 23, Toyota Tundra 2024 in addition to offering an option for an upgraded suspension with a height of three inches, Tundra is also available with various special packages such as Nightmen and Off-Road TRD packages.

The Nightcast package presents a number of components with black accents, including 20-inch rims, over-fanders, grippers, mirror coatings, and manufacturer emblems. Previously, several other Toyota models such as Camry, Corolla, Prius, and Venza also had these special packages.

Meanwhile, the TRD Off-Road package offers a variety of features and devices, such as Multi-Terrain Select Toyota to set the wheels, Crawl Control to keep the wheels low, Cruise Control specifically for off-road terrain, and Downhill Assist which helps drivers through extreme terrain. The TRD package also includes features such as rear-differential and Multi-Terrain Monitor locking to see obstacles around vehicles.

Although still relying on a V6 twin-turbo machine, Toyota Tundra 2024 offers two choices that have their own reliability. The first option is the i-Force twin-turbocharged V6 engine which produces up to 389 dk of power and 649 Nm of torque. While the second option is the i-Force Max hybrid engine which is capable of generating up to 437 dk of power and a maximum torque of 790 Nm.

Like other Toyota models, Tundra 2024 is also equipped with safety radar devices included in Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). These features include Pre-collection System with Pedestrian Detection, Road Sign Assist (RSA), Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC), Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA), Lane Tracing Assist (LTA), Railway Warning System, and Automatic High Beams (AHB).

Available in a variety of colors, including White, Wind Chill Pearl, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Celestial Silver Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, Super Sonic Red, Army Green, Lunar Rock, Solar Octane, and Blueprint, Toyota Tundra 2024 will be assembled at an updated plant in San Antonio, Texas, USA, ahead of launch of the latest models.
