Lamborghini Lanzador, First EV Preview Car From Manufacturers "Banteng Mengamuk"

JAKARTA - The well-known supercar brand from Italy, Lamborghini, released a concept model that will be its first electric car, the Lanzador.

This car will be the starting milestone of Lamborghini in the EV segment. As previously rumored, the car comes in the form of Gran Turismo or GT.

The presence of the Lanzador is also in line with the planning strategy made by Lamborghini, namely "Direzione Cor Tauri", which was announced in 2021, which includes the presence of Lamborghini Revuelto who carries V12 Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and the launch of the Lanzador which will be produced in 2028.

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said that with the launch of the Lanzador, Lamborghini has created the latest car segment, namely Ultra GT, which will offer the latest vehicle experience with more advanced technology.

"With the Lanzador we see our future without forgetting our DNA. Lamborghini's first coup with their front engine is a sporty and elegant Gran Turismo that is suitable for daily use as a 2+2 seat," Winkelmann said in his statement, Friday, August 18.

The lanzador is introduced to the GT 2+2 car seating which has a high ground clearance, presenting sporty driving and very fun when driving.

This car will be equipped with a double electric motor on each double to ensure electric drive can work optimally in all conditions.

The lanzador comes with the driving of all wheels (AWD) and offers an active e-torque vector on the back axis in order to produce dynamic and smooth driving.

Energy is provided by a new generation of high-performance batteries, which also ensures a long range. Not only does it have impressive hardware components, but the car is also present in improving the software and control system.

Before launching the production version of Lanzador, Lamborghini will first launch hybrid management in 2024 or 2025. They also have the ambition to present an electricity version in 2030.

In the future, Lamborghini will further strengthen its product line by launching the successor Huracan, the latest variant of Revuelto, and managing hybrids. In preparation for the era of electric vehicles, this manufacturer will also re-develop their production facilities in Sant'Agata, a place to assemble Revuelto and Huracan.
