Considered Expensive, 333 Golf Units R 333 Sold Out In 8 Minutes

JAKARTA - Volkswagen just released a special edition of Golf R 333 on May 31 as well as informing 333 available units of German dealers starting Friday, June 2. Vehicles will be delivered in October this year.

At the time of launch the price was considered too expensive starting from 76,410 euros per unit or more than Rp1.2 billion making it the most expensive golf ever produced whereas basically the car is the same as Golf R 20 Years Edition 2022 which was launched in 2022 and sold for 59,995 euros or around Rp 955 million. In addition, as an alternative, the Porsche 718 Cayman S can be owned at almost the same price as Golf R 333.

Who would have thought if this limited edition sold out in just eight minutes. Paying that much money for a special edition golf that doesn't have a different design shows the unlimited loyalty of Volkswagen lovers. Golf R 333 uses a cylinder 4 engine with a capacity of 2,000 cc TSI and an R Performance exhaust system from Akrapovic with a back damping made of titanium and 19-inch Estoril black rim with semi-slick tires highlighting the character of sport.

The same car crew as the name, namely 333 dk with a maximum torque of 420 Nm and acceleration of 0-100 km/hour within 4.6 seconds and a maximum speed of 270 km/hour.
