JAKARTA - The US auto brand Buick is expanding on the SUV market by launching the latest model, Envista.
In fact, the latest crossover from Buick was introduced in China last summer. However, the manufacturer changed several aspects for sale in the US market.
Executive Director of Global Buick-GMC Design, Sharon Gauci revealed, that the car is not an ordinary SUV. It offers Envista with modern design and Buick-style beauty.
"This is not an ordinary small SUV. With its unique proportion, modern posture, and lean shape, Envista brings the beauty of Buick carvings to the next level," Sharon said as quoted by Carscoops, Monday, April 17, 2023.
In terms of appearance, the SUV has the front in the form of a large grip and long lights that are separated on both sides. Envista has a body structure that is dashing but very eye-catching.
Meanwhile, on the back, the back light is made sleek with a small back wing pinned over the light. Both the front and back bemper leave the impression of sporty but dynamic.
Buick presents a maximum comfort interior with an 8-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11-inch infotainment display.
Other features are also embedded, namely the Buick Driver Confidence package, which consists of Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam at the front light.
There are also features that make it easier for drivers including Adaptive Cruise Control, Near Cross-Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert.
Beyond the design and features, Buick Envista also offers an attractive machine. With the same runway as Chevrolet Trax 2024, which is 1.2 liters of turbocharged 3-cylinder, the machine can generate 136 dk of power and 219 Nm of torque.
Although the machine is equipped with an impressive six-speed transmission, Envista is only available with front wheels driving.
Buick will offer two trims to Envista, namely Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir. The difference is trim ST provides 18-inch rims with black outer trim. Meanwhile, Avenir uses a 19-inch nickel pearl rim with a monochrome look.
