"The National Police asked MUI to issue a fatwa about praying on the streets, so what is being discussed is a fatwa. So we ask the fatwa commission to review it. The law is for Friday prayers on the streets," said Deputy Chairman of MUI, Yunahar Ilyas as quoted by the Republican page, November 24, 2016.
