JAKARTA - Fake diploma scandals of state officials are the biggest disgrace in the world of foreign country politics. This victory made Mahathir Mohamad serve as PM for the second time - used to be in power from 1981-2003.

Mahathir's victory made him choose his own government. New names and old names of ministers are trying to be presented. Instead of getting a welcome, the ministerial election is considered to bring harm. Many ministers are considered not to have had a brilliant competition.

The Malaysian people even doubt the education records of ministers in the Mahathir government cabinet. They really graduated abroad, or just took the names of foreign campuses to decorate the education list of state officials. The suspicion began to strengthen in February 2019.

All of them came from a Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Marzuki Yahya. Marzuki claims he has a bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge, England. This testimony is doubtful because the logistics education program carried out is distance learning.

A large campus in the world that is dominated by face-to-face education is rarely done. This condition provoked the Malaysian people to speak up and planned to bring Marzuki's fake diploma case to court.

The breakthrough led Marzuki to admit that the title was not from the University of Cambridge UK, but from the unpopular campus of the Cambridge International University in the United States (US). There is a suspicion that the campus is meant to be fake. The lie then spread everywhere. The certificate of other state officials began to be doubted.

"I think they (the critics' groups) misunderstood. I studied at Cambridge International University in the United States. I worked in logistics (before going into politics). I only used the diploma to develop business," said Marzuki as quoted by the COMPASS.com page, February 7, 2019.

Marzuki's lies are like revealing the dark secrets of other Malaysian state officials. State officials like ministers were dragged along. Among others, Defense Minister Mohamad Sabu, Housing Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin, Johor Minister Osman Sapian, and Perak Minister Ahmad Faizal Azumu.

The officials were accused of lying about their educational track record. Take the example of Ahmad Faizal. The Great Minister of Silver admitted that he graduated from the trade from the University ofctional Cowan, Australia. However, after being pressured by the Malaysian people, Ahmad admitted that he had only studied, did not pass.

Likewise with Mohamad Sabu. The Minister of Defense is proud of his educational background as a graduate of the Mara Institute of Technology in Penang. However, Mohamad Sabu's fate is the same as that of Ahmad. They had studied and did not graduate.

The Minister of Housing, Zuraida and Meteri Besar Johor, Osman Sapian is also no less controversial. Both of them never attended or graduated from the mentioned university. Zuraida, who claims to be a graduate of the University of Singapore, is Osman who claims to have graduated from the Malaysian University of Education.

The Malaysian officials' dishonest attitude angered Najib Razak. The former Malaysian PM who was involved in the corruption scandal considered Mahathir Mohamad's second government-era ministers to have no integrity.

The official is considered to have lied to the public. Najib urged Mahathir to fire them. This condition is so that the trust of the Malaysian people returns.
