Problems arise. Diversity is increasingly threatened when there are groups who want Indonesia to become a caliphate country Islamic state. This desire arises because Indonesia is inhabited by the majority of Islam. Supporters of Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI) are the loudest to voice it.

They think that the Indonesian democratic system is no longer suitable to create a good government. This condition is because the voice of an intellectual and ordinary person is counted the same. No one guarantees that those who are elected are trustworthy leaders.

The group's wishes are opposed by many parties. Indonesia is diverse, not uniform. Can't all obey the wishes of an Islamic state. Recently, Indonesia's desire to become an Islamic country has strengthened. The government takes firm action.

They disbanded HTI. The dissolution was carried out so that peace between religious communities was maintained. However, the dissolution did not necessarily stop Indonesia's demands from becoming an Islamic state. The desire to become an Islamic state continues to arrive.
