March 5 In History: Jim Morrison Became The Target Of Operation After The Doors Concert In Miami

JAKARTA - On March 5, 1969, the Dade County Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for Jim Morrison. The rockstar was charged with a felony and three minor offenses for his stage act at a concert in Miami a few days earlier.

Jim is a star. He's the face of The Doors. Jim is also known as a strong songwriter. At The Doors, he was in stiff competition with Ray Manzarek, the signature Hammond player and the brains of many of the band's studio sessions.

Long before he jumped into a stage life filled with both glamor and frustration and many other emotions, Jim studied film at UCLA. It was there that Jim met the other members of The Doors.

The Doors has become an iconic legend with many hits, such as Light My Fire, Riders on the Storm, Roadhouse Blues, and many more. Jim was a crazy drunk. An undeniable fact.

He has a habit of drinking out of bounds. Jim is also known as a user of drugs, such as cocaine and heroin, things that are often associated with his 'attractive' stage acts.

Jim Morrison's law case

Quoted from History, Friday, March 21, 2021, when Jim first got the news about allegations of lewd behavior, profanity, profanity, and drunkenness, he thought it was a joke. But he soon learned that the Miami authorities were completely serious.

In fact, then Jim was charged an additional charge, namely sexual harassment during a concert against his guitarist, Robby Krieger. The trial did not start until September 1970, when prosecutors hunted down witnesses who admitted they were shocked by the action they had witnessed at the Doors concert.

However, nearly every witness is somehow connected to the police or the prosecutor's office. There are some questions as to whether the popular singer has ever really exposed himself on stage or not.

But there's little doubt that he was so drunk that he only let out a mumble during the concert. Morrison turned down a bargain deal in which the band would play a free concert in Miami.

This turned out to be a mistake as Morrison was eventually found guilty and sentenced to six months in prison and a USD 500 fine. These various problems made him decide to leave The Doors.

Jim continued his life in Paris. There he wrote a lot of poetry. In that city Jim died, on July 3, 1971, to be precise. Jim was immortal before serving his sentence.

Jim's girlfriend, Pamela Courson, found the star dead in the bathtub of their apartment. Jim is thought to have died of heart failure.

The Paris authorities admit that they have found no evidence of irregularities. Not even an autopsy was performed. This has led to endless speculation and conspiracy theories regarding Jim's death.

Suspected overdose

In 2007, a club owner in Paris named Sam Bernett published a book. In the book, he tells the story that Jim died of a heroin overdose at his nightclub.

Jim's body was then moved to the apartment and placed in a bathtub. This was done to cover up the truth about Jim's death.

Jim is buried at the famous Pere Lachaise Cemetery in Paris. And his grave has since become one of the top tourist destinations.

Jim was only 27 years old at the time of his death. Portrayed by actor Val Kilmer in the 1991 biographical film The Doors, Jim remains one of the most legendary and mysterious rock stars of all time.

Its eloquent scent of rebellion, which follows the music of The Doors, inspires a younger generation. Even those who were not directly affected by The Doors' music were able to find articulations in their own emotional range.

So miraculous were The Doors and Jim, and the lyrics and the murmurs. In December 2010, Jim received a posthumous pardon from the state of Florida, thanks to Governor Charlie Crist. He said he had doubts about the singer's actions.
