Death Vomit Releases New Album, Dominion Over Creation

JAKARTA - Yogyakarta-based metal troop Death Vomit has launched its fourth full album. Titled Dominion Over Creation, this album is out on Wednesday, July 29th.

The album of the band, which consists of Sofyan Hadi (guitar / vocals), Oki Haribowo (bass) and Roy Agus (drums) will contain nine songs that present new colors, especially in the work of the sound system and lyrics.

"We are trying to be more focused on working on the sound and lyrics of the lyrics," said Sofyan in a written statement received by VOI.

Death Vomit said that the work on this new album had been going on from July 2019 to December 2019. It took a long time to work because Death Vomit wanted to provide the best for metal music fans in Indonesia.

"This fourth studio album was released by the Demented Mind Record label, which is the label of Death Vomit itself and on this album we are also fully supported by Sinergi Live from Yogyakarta," said Oki.

"This is a form of our support for Sinergi Live to local bands, especially from Yogyakarta, with the hope that more new talents will emerge in the Indonesian music scene," continued Bakkar Wibowo from Sinergi Live.

In addition, this year's Death Vomit has entered its 25th year, a long journey for metal bands in Indonesia.

The plan was for Death Vomit to hold a concert celebrating its 25th anniversary, but due to the pandemic it had to be postponed.

Death Vomit's latest album is sold for Rp. 50,000, and can be ordered directly through @deathvomitofficial or @dementendmindrecords.
