JAKARTA - The Rolling Stones will re-release one of the precious gems in their catalog, Goats Head Soap. In addition to a revamped sound system for this 1973 album, a number of rare songs will also be included.

The album will be available in a variety of configurations, including a four-set CD and box set vinyl edition.

This re-release follows great success and praise for their new single, Living In A Ghost Town. In addition, Stone's appearance performing You Can't Always Get What You Want in the April Citizen Global One World Together At Home special also drew attention.

The box set, deluxe CD and vinyl edition of Goats Head Soup will feature ten bonus tracks, including an alternate version, a censored version and no less than three previously unheard songs.

What is certainly the most awaited by Stone fans around the world is that the box set and deluxe editions will feature Scarlet's previously never published songs. The song features guitar playing by Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin).

Apart from that, there are also other treasures. Namely, All The Rage which is truly rare and has never been heard.

The layered guitar texture in Scarlet is both poisonous and sexy, just like what Stone presented in this sacred era. Jimmy Page's special appearance alongside Mick Taylor and Keith Richard was also complemented by Rick Grech's bass playing which brought Blind Faith fame.

Meanwhile, All The Rage shows Stone's wild side. Wild Brown Sugar and Criss Cross that only Stone can do.

The bonus compact disc of unreleased material also features other versions of tracks such as 100 Years Ago and Hide Your Love. The entire song was remixed by Stone producer and insider Glyn Johns.

The Goats Head Soup box set edition would also include Brussels Affair, a 15-track live album recorded at their show in Belgium, on the fall 1973 tour that followed the album's release in late August. This much sought-after disc mixed by Bob Clearmountain was previously only available in a series of Live Bootleg Stone recordings in 2012.

The show in Brussels featured songs such as Tumbling Dice, Midnight Rambler, Jumping Jack Flash and many others, including track sequences from the new album. There is a Star Star followed by Dancing With Mr. D, Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker), and Angie.

Additionally, the CD set and vinyl box set offer an album of ten original songs in 5.1 Surround Sound, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res, along with a video for Dancing With Mr. D, Silver Train and Angie. There is also a 120-page book featuring excellent photographs, essays by authors Ian McCann, Nick Kent and Daryl Easlea and four reproduced tour posters from 1973.
