Canceled By Netflix, Marvel Is Rumored To Relive 'Daredevil' Series

JAKARTA - The Daredevil series has been absent from the small screen after nearly three years the fourth season of the series was canceled on Netflix. Now, Marvel Studios is reportedly considering bringing the series back.

Quoted from Comicbook, there are rumors that Vincent D'Onofrio will appear as Wilson Fisk in "Hawkeye" and that Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock/Daredevil may appear in "Spider-Man: No Way Home".

Due to the ongoing rumors, it is rumored that Marvel Studios is considering a solo project "Daredevil", one that will be a soft reboot of the series even though it will star the same actors from the Netflix series.

The rumors come from Daniel Ritchman (via Knight Edge Media) and suggest that the characters will have different histories to their MCU introductions and none of the Netflix series will become canon or fit into the MCU timeline.

It's still unclear whether the project will be a series or film on Disney+ and also appears to include various supporting characters from the larger "universe" of the Netflix show, meaning it could potentially also see characters like Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones.

However, it's important to remember that this is just speculation following rumors that D'Onofrio and Cox will appear in "Hawkeye" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home". More recently, Cox has even continued to deny that he's in the upcoming "Spider-Man" movie, commenting that he "really had no idea what was going to happen" with the character.

"My answer was, 'No comment.' I don't know what's going to happen, I really don't know," Cox recently told Forbes.

"I don't know. I don't know. I love how excited the fans are and I feel very, very, very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about my desire to come back," he said, October 4.
