Britney Spears' Father Suspended From Conservator Status

JAKARTA - The Los Angeles court has officially suspended the status of conservator Britney Spears' father, Jamie, on Wednesday, September 29, United States time.

Brenda Penny as the judge approved Jamie's status as guardian of Britney Spears to be suspended. However, Jamie's decision to withdraw was only announced at the next trial.

Britney's attorney, Matthew Rosengart expressed his desire to remove Jamie from his status as soon as possible. This is in line with the many new facts revealed in the documentary Controlling Britney Spears.

Rosengart also appointed someone as interim conservator before filing for Jamie's revocation and ending Britney's 13-year conservatory.

Brenda Penny said this decision was the best choice for Britney Spears. Jamie's party who asked for an appeal was also not approved by the judge.

Britney Spears was in the conservatory for 13 years where her father was appointed to manage Britney's decisions and finances.

Recently, Britney admitted that being in the conservatory killed her dreams of having a family and a career. She had said that she would not appear on stage as long as Jamie was her conservator.

“This conservatory is killing my dreams. So all I have now is hope and hope, the only thing in the world that's hard to kill," Britney Spears said on Instagram.
