JAKARTA - Disney+ has confirmed that the Loki series will continue into a second season. The announcement was broadcast in the middle of the credits for the final episode of Loki's season one, where Loki's file was stamped with the words, "Loki will return in season two."
This news was greeted enthusiastically by fans of the Loki series because it was considered the fastest confirmation compared to other MCU series.
The Loki series, which is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, tells the story of the main character who gets involved with TVA (Time Variance Authority) after escaping to a place that has no name.
Loki is played by Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant. Kate Herron is directing and Michael Waldron is writing the series.
Citing Deadline today, July 14th, Hiddleston hints at Loki's unfinished story. "I understand up to this point, saying goodbye to characters more than twice, maybe two and a half times not to make assumptions."
