Jang Geun Suk Gets An Offer To Play In a Korean Drama 'Unexpected Country Diary'

JAKARTA - Actor Jang Geun Suk seems to be returning to the world of acting. Today, July 8, Jang Geun Suk reportedly received an offer as the main character in Kakao TV's Korean drama titled Unexpected Country Diary.

On the same day, AG Corporation as an agency confirmed the offer their client received. However, at this time Jang Geun Suk is still reviewing carefully.

Unexpected Country Diary tells the story of a man from Seoul who meets a policewoman in a rural area. This story is adapted from the web novel of the same title by Park Ha Min.

If Jang Geun Suk accepts this drama, Unexpected Country Diary will be his newest Korean drama after starring in Switch in 2018.

He completed his mandatory military service in May 2020. Due to his bipolar disorder, Jang Geun Suk served as a public worker.
