Amora Lemos is back singing through the song "Sepanjang Jalan" which is the soundtrack of the live-action version of the film Moana. He duets with Lyodra Ginting and Silet Openup in his first soundtrack.

Amora explained that until now he often heard that he was similar to Moana. Amora sees the Moana character as a reflection of the struggles of teenagers and all their reflections in their growth.

"Actually, I've been a fan of Moana since I was a kid. So when I was a kid I liked it because her hair was like that. But as I get older, I also understand what the story is like, she's the same age as me, almost the same. After that, I understood that she was looking for her identity, she wanted to step out of her comfort zone, and that was very related to me when in my personal life or in my career life too," said Amora Lemos in a press conference in Central Jakarta on Wednesday, July 8.

When asked to fill the soundtrack, Amora felt proud even though he was still nervous because he initially thought he was just singing "How Far I'll Go" from the animated film Moana.

"I was really surprised because I'm a Disney fan and a Moana fan too. I also didn't expect it when I was contacted, I thought it was just a cover, singing "How Far I'll Go" at that time. But it turned out to be for the official soundtrack, especially the new song. So I'm really excited even though I'm a little nervous but I'm trying," said Amora again.

"Actually I broke up because of school, because I had exams and projects like that. But I can't miss out on Disney, you know. Especially this is a big label and I'm already a big fan. So what else do I want to try to be a singer again for projects like this, even though it's kind of hard to adapt again to this life, but fortunately I can," he explained.

Amora also just met Lyodra and Silet Openup while shooting the music video, but fortunately Krisdayanti's child was able to adjust and the collaboration went well.

"Amora: Actually I met Kak Lyodra and Kak Ryan while shooting the MV. So when we practice vocals, we separate because the schedule is busy, some have school, some have other schedules. So when we met for the MV, we blended right away. But even though we rarely meet, the results are still good," he continued.

The song "Sepanjang Jalan" is also considered to reflect the spirit of Moana that can be felt by the audience, as Amora said, "The lyrics are very motivating, it could motivate anyone. Because I still try to achieve our goals even though it feels useless. That means never give up."

The live-action version of Moana can be watched in theaters starting Wednesday, July 8 while the music video for the song "All the Way" will be released on July 17.
