Strengthen Modest Fashion Industry Players To Face All Challenges, Jakarta Modest Summit 2026 Gives Discussion Opportunities

JAKARTA - The year 2025 will be a challenging year for business owners. Several companies are in danger of going out of business, people's purchasing power is also considered to be declining. However, the potential of the modest fashion industry still exists. According to The Global Islamic Economy Indicator (GIEI), Indonesia is ranked first for the modest fashion sector. This position is an achievement as well as a challenge for fashion industry players in the country to continue to struggle and grow.

Modestalk as a medium and community that houses the drivers of the modestfashion industry initiated the Jakarta Modest Summit 2026 as a place to connect, discuss, and find new opportunities to develop stronger. The event was held on December 10, 2025, at The Ballroom at Djakarta Theater, Central Jakarta.

This year is the fourth time Jakarta Modest Summit has been held. Every year the Jakarta Modest Summit event presents a conference session with inspiring speakers, Business to Business (B2B) Trade which presents fashion product vendors, and the awarding night for the winners of the Fashionstalk Reader's Choice 2025. This event was held on the support of Pinterest, VIVI NICHI, Wardah, BTN Syariah, DS Modest, CLI Express.

The topics in the conference session are designed according to the needs and challenges felt by fashion entrepreneurs, ranging from brand owners, vendors, to content creators. Starting from the change in buying power which is now in Gen Z's hands, the trend of marketing affiliators, to how to export modest fashion products smartly.

All topics will be shared by experienced speakers in their fields, ranging from Nurdini Prihastiti (Founder of Dama Kara), Khanaan Shamlan (Founder of KHANAAN), Ria Ricis (Influencer & Content Creator), Dian Fajrina (Founder of Nathelabel) and Fanbul Prabowo (CEO Infipop).

The B2B Trade area is filled with leading vendors who are ready to help develop fashion businesses, such as Allia Digital Printex which is a hijab printing vendor that is often used by Indonesian brand modests, as well as the MEA Digital Agency which bridges brands to affiliators and content creators on TikTok.

This year's Jakarta Modest Summit has the theme Stronger Together, because we want all players in the Indonesian fashion modest industry to be stronger in facing all economic challenges. The series of events for the Jakarta Modest Summit 2026 closed with the awarding of the 2025 Modestalk Reader's Choice winners. This award is an appreciation from the readers of Modestalk for the parties who drive the modest fashion industry. This year is becoming more special because there are new categories for the most favorite fashion modest products, ranging from Plain Scarf of The Year, Pashmina of The Year, to Mukena of The Year. This is the first time there has been an appreciation devoted to fashion fashion products in Indonesia.
