Amid Divorce Issues, Mulan Jameela Prays For Protection From Slander

JAKARTA Singer and member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Mulan Jameela, shared a portrait of her family together with her husband, Ahmad Dhani, and one of their sons through their personal Instagram account.

The photo showing the warm atmosphere is accompanied by prayers for his family to be kept away from slander, along with the rampant news about his household.

In the caption of the upload, Mulan asked for protection from prejudice and mentioned the teachings of the Qur'an about the dangers of slander.

"O Allah, protect our family from bad thoughts and slander that can certainly be detrimental," Mulan wrote, quoted by VOI from her personal Instagram, Tuesday, November 18.

"Your efforts have been conveyed in the Qur'an how dangerous slander is to be more cruel than murder. Na'udzubillah min dzalik," he continued.

Mulan also prays for patience and wisdom in facing tests. "And whatever we have gone through, give us patience and give us wisdom and kindness for all of us," she concluded.

The prayer upload comes amid the outbreak of divorce issues that are widely discussed on social media, especially TikTok. An account uploaded a video claiming that Mulan and Dhani were undergoing the first trial of the divorce, and the content quickly sparked reactions from netizens.

Responding to the news, Ahmad Dhani gave a tougher response. The Dewa 19 frontman expressed his anger through social media, calling the hoax spreader a bard' and men'. Dhani emphasized that the information was not true and was a heinous slander.

Although the way the two of them are different, both Mulan's upload and Ahmad Dhani's firm statement both emphasize that the news of the divorce is not true and their household is in good condition.
