Coffee To Rawa Pening, Pesona Alam Semarang Colors The 2025 Trail Run

JAKARTA - The "Banaran Trail Run 2025" event from PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) I in the Kampoeng Kopi Banaran area, Bawen, Semarang Regency, was lively. Around 769 runners from various regions enlivened the agenda.

The annual running championship consists of three categories, namely 5K (5 kilometers) which were attended by 500 participants, 12K followed by 150 people, and 21K with 119 runners participating.

"Thank you for the extraordinary enthusiasm at Kampoeng Kopi Banaran," said Region Head of PTPN I Regional 3 Tri Septiono while greeting the runners before the start.

He explained that Kampoeng Banaran Coffee is one of the tourist destinations owned by PTPN I, which is famous for its coffee, namely Banaran coffee.

After a great success at its inaugural event, the Banaran Trail Run was held for the second time with a fresh, challenging, and full of surprises concept.

"Banaran Trail Run" is a sport tourism that is highly anticipated by running sports lovers and natural adventures as evidenced by participants who exceeded the target."

"The enthusiasm and enthusiasm of participants in the first year is our main motivation to hold the 'Track Run 2025'. There are many routes with surprises that are ready to provide different experiences for runners," said Event Manager Kampoeng Kopi Banaran Ria Anggraini.

Last year, he said, the number of participants in the "Banaran Trail Run" reached 600 runners, while this year it was targeted at 750 runners, and the realization exceeded the target.

He explained that the runners came from various regions, ranging from Joglosemar (Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang), West Java, East Java, Lampung, Medan, to Makassar.

Unlike the usual running championship, the "Banaran Trail Run" provides a special experience for runners who want to run, while enjoying a beautiful natural view.

"Rute is unique and challenging with incomparable views, crossing the expanse of coffee plantations, the magnificent panorama of Mount Ungaran, to the beauty of the legendary Rawa Pening lake," he said.

In addition, he said, the participants of the "Banaran Trail Run" can also spend the night in the tent before the "race day" so as to create a more personal, warm, and memorable running experience.

"The Trail Run 2025" is also enlivened by a series of activities, such as training for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), "Coffee Academy", and the MSME exhibition.
